Travel assistance and peace of mind at no additional cost is available to Health Plan members and their covered dependents through Assist America. You can use the services of Assist America any time you or an eligible family member travels more than 100 miles away from home. Some of the many services Assist America provides to Health Plan members are medical referrals, prescription assistance, foreign hospital admission guarantee, emergency trauma counseling, medical evacuation, and medical escort, if needed, to return to the United States. A single call to Assist America connects you or eligible family members with experienced medical professionals and crisis response personnel who will get you appropriate medical care anywhere in the United States or around the globe. Assist America services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
