Storage at UPMC Shadyside warehouse On Monday, Jan. 23, a clean-up and purge of unused equipment and furniture stored on the second floor of the UPMC Shadyside warehouse on Centre Avenue will begin. Any UPMC staff who have items stored at this warehouse must contact Ken Fryncko via e-mail at frynckokj@upmc.edu by Friday, Jan. 20, to identify and tag items for continued storage. Beginning Jan. 23, any untagged items will be re-allocated to UPMC areas in need or will be disposed of by sale, donation, or as scrap. Items currently stored at the warehouse include medical equipment, office/waiting room furniture, patient room beds and furniture, and support equipment.
