The annual Open Enrollment period for UPMC staff members will begin Wednesday, Nov. 1, and continue through Friday, Nov. 17. Open Enrollment is the time to review, and if necessary, make changes to benefit elections. Staff are encouraged to take steps to prepare.

Complete your My Health screening

Time is running out to complete your My Health screening and earn the My Health deductible credit for the 2007 benefit year — $200 individual/ $400 family. Screenings must be completed by Sept. 30, 2006, to earn the deductible credit for 2007.

You can attend one of the remaining on-site health screenings (see sidebar at right) — which include measurements of height and weight, as well as tests for blood pressure, carbon monoxide, glucose, cholesterol, and triglycerides — or schedule a screening with your primary care physician. Tests completed at your doctor’s office must include blood glucose and cholesterol to qualify for the deductible credit.

Screenings completed on-site or at your doctor’s office between Oct. 1, 2004, and Sept. 30, 2006, count toward the 2007 My Health deductible credit. Call 1-888-553-8762 to verify your status.

For a complete schedule, visit Infonet at http://myhealth.infonet.upmc.com. To schedule your screening, call 1-888-553-8762 or visit https://mcnet.upmchp.com/hponline.

Update your address on My HUB

Having your current home mailing address in My HUB is essential to receiving vital information from UPMC.

In the coming months, UPMC staff will have the opportunity to update their benefit information during the annual Open Enrollment period. To ensure the timely arrival of important benefit and retirement information, staff members should immediately review their addresses on My HUB.

Log on to My HUB and select “View/update personal information” under My Profile to review your address. If you have moved or changed your address, select the “Correct home/mailing address” button and follow the directions for updating your address. Be sure to save your updated information so that the change is forwarded electronically to Payroll.

Watch Extra! for additional information about benefit changes for 2007 and Open Enrollment.
