Holiday promotions support Cancer Centers

New holiday promotions will benefit A Reason to Hope Cancer Fund, which supports cancer research, medical education, and patient care at UPMC Cancer Centers and the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute.

Sierra Mist and Schweppes

Through Wednesday, Jan. 3, Giant Eagle will donate five cents to A Reason to Hope Cancer Fund for every purchase of Sierra Mist or Schweppes products, to a maximum of $10,000. Qualifying products include: 6-, 10-, 20-, or 24-ounce bottles; 1- or 2-liter bottles; and 6-, 12-, or 24-pack cases of Sierra Mist or Schweppes.

Snyder’s of Hanover

Snyder’s of Hanover and Giant Eagle are partnering with UPMC Cancer Centers for the third year to wage a “Snack Attack on Cancer.” From Thursday, Dec. 7, through Wednesday, Jan. 3, Snyder’s of Hanover will donate a percentage of sales for every 16-ounce bag of pretzels sold at Giant Eagle to A Reason to Hope Cancer Fund.
