UPMC St. Margaret awarded Magnet status for excellence in nursing

UPMC St. Margaret has been awarded Magnet Recognition Status^® from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) for excellence in nursing, professional practice, and patient care. Magnet status is one of the highest nursing achievements a hospital can earn. This national award, which has been granted to only 5 percent of U.S. hospitals, involves a rigorous review process. The achievement is a testament to UPMC’s commitment to excellence in patient care, delivered in the right way, at the right time, every time. Congratulations to those involved in the Magnet process for their ongoing commitment to providing western Pennsylvania with the best health care.
