Protect your family's financial security

Have you had any life changes this year, such as having a baby, getting married, or getting divorced? Maybe you welcomed a new grandchild to the family. As changes like these occur, don't forget to update your beneficiary designations.

Checking and updating your beneficiary information is easy and can be done on My HUB at any time. To review your life insurance beneficiaries:

• log in to My HUB
• click on the Human Resources tab
• select View Benefits Information
• choose Life and Disability Plans

Under Type of Benefit, click on each of your life insurance policies to review your current beneficiaries. Make any changes that you want by clicking on the "Edit" button. Don’t forget to click "Save" when you have made your revisions. You are the beneficiary for any policies that you have purchased for your eligible dependents.

To update the beneficiaries for your UPMC Savings and Cash Balance Plan accounts, log in to My HUB, click on the Human Resources tab, then select My Retirement under My Benefits to reach the Your Benefits Resources™ website. Click on the Personal Info tab and then select the Beneficiary tab to review and update your retirement beneficiaries.
