Fall into exercise with YMCA on-site classes

As the weather begins to change and exercising outside becomes harder, UPMC has the answer. Sign up for a YMCA worksite class. The fall session begins the week of Oct. 27 and online registration is available for UPMC employees. Spaces are limited, so register early.

The YMCA continues to offer the discounted rate of $35 per session to UPMC staff for each of the eight-week fitness classes. If you register online, fees will be automatically deducted from your paycheck. Employees who are paid biweekly will have two $17.50 deductions ($35 total) per session; employees who are paid monthly will have one $35 deduction per session. These payroll deductions will occur on the first full pay period after classes begin.

The YMCA offers physical activity classes at many UPMC worksites. For a complete listing of class descriptions, as well as locations, visit myhealth.infonet.upmc.com/YMCA.htm. More classes and a variety of times have been added this session to meet the ever-growing demand. Classes range from yoga to the popular Zumba, and include both beginner and advanced groups.
