Which costs UPMC less: making copies of a document on a multifunction device (printer-scanner-copier) in your department or having the UPMC Print Shop make the copies? It costs about twice as much to do it in your department. Plan ahead and send the job to the UPMC Print Shop any time you need 50 copies or more, or have a large document to reproduce. Most orders are printed and delivered in three to four days, but if the order is a rush the Print Shop will complete it in the time frame needed. For further savings, limit your
use of color printing. UPMC pays 6 cents per page for color printing,
but only 1.9 cents per page for black-and-white printing. UPMC will join in the global observance of Earth Day on Wednesday, April 22.
