To be eligible for the first drawing on June 1, you must complete the following by May 1:

  • Acknowledge the Wellness Pledge and complete or update your MyHealth Questionnaire.
  • Complete a biometric screening (between Sept. 1, 2004, and May 1, 2009).

UPMC is built on a foundation of honesty and integrity. Every day, the decisions we make and the actions we take affect our patients, communities, and industry. The Ethics and Compliance Office serves as a resource for all UPMC employees, helping them maintain the organization’s high standards of ethical and lawful conduct.

If you have an ethics or compliance concern, you first should contact your manager. If you are not comfortable with or are unable to follow the chain of command, the UPMC Ethics and Compliance Office, Human Resources, or Legal are available to assist you. To report your concern anonymously, call the UPMC Helpline toll-free at 1-877-983-8442. Staff who report their concern in good faith may do so without fear of retaliation or reprisal.

Visit UPMC’s Ethics and Compliance Office for more information or to review the UPMC Workplace Ethics Guide. For general ethics and compliance concerns: complianceaskus@upmc.edu, 412-647-5774; for HIPAA questions: hipaaskus@upmc.edu, 412-647-5757.

Test your knowledge: Watch Extra and Infonet next week for a chance to test your ethics and compliance knowledge and win great prizes.
